What is The Void?

The Void is the first thing that existed in all of creation. Before the cosmic event that spawned the universes, nothing was everything. This is not the same void as "Outer Space". Rather, the Gods typically refer to it as "The Space Between Spaces", the remnants of the empty universe that fill in the cracks between the infinite dimensions. All manner of strange beings dwell within this strange place.

Consider dimensions as small balls of paper, thrown haphazardly into a wire waste basket. That waste basket contains an entire universe and every ounce of space not occupied by a dimension is the void. The creatures that survive in the void are energy beings, as matter in the void is utterly obliterated when exposed to it for any longer than a month.

Physics do not exist in the same capacity in the void. While each dimension and universe follow a nearly identical set of laws (varying slightly from plane to plane) The Void is completely malleable to the beings that walk within it. Sentient Energy beings within the void possess Nearly Absolute Will over it. The condition is that this will can not enable them to infringe upon the Dimensions, as Dimensions are separated by barriers composed of a very peculiar type of intangible matter found only in the void. The only influence that can pass through these walls are material influences, such as other types of matter. In this way, the natives of the Void are sealed off from the rest of the worlds.

It is possible to travel through the void, but unless a person has been given the knowledge of how to do this traversing it safely will be extremely difficult.
