The Breach (Amara)

Some time after Orion had assumed control of Amara, she had began plans to dominate the other planets and stars that she could see at night. Her forces began to train and build to prepare for a violent and ceaseless struggle to expand her empire, when something peculiar happened.

In the arctic wastes of Trayi, a strange blue light could be seen at night emanating in the distance. Upon exploration, it turned out to be a breach into a totally different world-- a world that Orion now desired. 

The breach has been opened for roughly ten years. In that time, the inhabitants of what Orion calls "the otherside" have not attempted to come through the breach, and given its location in their world its easy to understand why: the area is far from any inhabited lands, now solely occupied by her forces, and her forces alone. It opens up into a land called "Antartica".
