Time for a party? (Suggestion?)

I see that we have picked up a few new members and perhaps activity is seeing more of a growth the past week.  Perhaps it is time for a party or event of sorts?  What are your thoughts?

I am in agreement with this. A party of some kind would be an excellent way to get members acquainted with one another. We could even make it a sort of game if we wanted to make people more familiar with each other. I have a few ideas on that, but I'd rather get the party situated first.

So, first big question: where should we have it?

Not sure what could consist of a 'party' on a RP site...besides the obvious, of course. ^.^

Well, I would recommend Radix but I also REALLY love Radix so that would be me being biased.

And to make it more interesting that just us mingling... you could each make a character and shuffle those characters around. Like RP round robin, basically. It means we all get character's we aren't necessarily comfy playing so we have to read about them and play them out to the best of our ability.

It could be tons of fun, and it's good practice. That's just an idea though. Realistically, any topic where wee are gathered together IC could be fun.

So...we all make characters and go for a round robin RP? I wouldn't mind that too much- it would indeed be something interesting at least. 

Hmm. It might also be good for character generation as well- perhaps some other person could notice a flaw or question a fact about said character.

I'm welcome to anything, really- Something all of us can take part in might come to be fun. Of course, it all depends on how serious it is...perhaps we could play it out like an 'encounter' on a tabletop RPG? 

(Even though Online RPing and Tabletop RPing could argue that there is little difference besides the mechanics behind it all.)
