Magic Bleed-In
What must be understood about Crisis and Amara are that the two are fundamentally different planes of existence for a single reason only: one has magic, one did not.
Amara was a plane rich in magical energy, and thus its inhabitants never needed to make the technological advanced we would to achieve the conveniences we have. They already had them at their disposal with the slightest imagining, essentially saying, "I need to reach this object," and then being able to reach it or "I need to light this room" and then being able to generate light. Worlds rich in magic have it throughout their entire environment.
Crisis was not a world with magic. Its history, largely the same as ours, had legends of magic (with the implication that maybe once, such a ting existed here) but nothing more. Technology developed from necessity and want, and much like the Amaranth are dependent on magic the Human Race of Crisis is dependent on technology.
When the Breach opened, some of Amara's magic began to bleed into Crisis. After ten years, while the magic is not as 'thick' in Crisis as it is in Amara, there are humans that are learning to use the same magic as the Amaranth.
