Touched

When certain circumstances arise, Cain personally seeks out sentient beings and empowers them with a specific ability. Beyond a mere blessing, these beings see their Spark become even more powerful with further increases their potential (it doesn't immediately strengthen them, merely allows them to temporarily bypass their own limits).

The people who are chosen with this method are known by the Gods as "Touched". They are known to have been given special rights and privilege in certain matters, essentially acting as chosen heroes for the realms they reside in. The honor of the status is not an automatically won item, and not a free pass either. Gods exercise their own discretion when dealing with Cain's champions, and while being "Touched" may offer some repute it does not offer protection from Gods who the "Touched" have wronged.
