Sin Energy

After The Spark divided, the newly sentient minds that started to form were a spiraling vortex of emotions. Happiness, Anguish, Jealousy-- all of these various emotions produced a very special energy. However, the most potent emotions were those that produced Anxiety, Guilt, Regret, Remorse, and other negative emotional stresses called Sin Energy.

The most fundamental kind of energy, Energy Beings (such as Sin Eaters) require it survive in the place of having The Spark. If they do not consume some amounts of it regularly they will die.

This is much less of a problem than it was closer to the Infinite Lives event. In the beginning, Sin Energy was scarcely found outside of living dimensions. Now, it can be found in large quantities in the void.

Using Sin Energy is not based on cap-- Sin Energy is essentially without limit by default. It's usage is more or less based on how connected one is with Sin Energy, and how much one's body can contain. A typical mortal can produce Sin Energy, but despite being a producer can not retain much if any, meaning manipulation of (and even retaining) Sin Energy is very limited to them because of the immense strain it places onto their entire being. With external help, however, a mortal can learn to manipulate Sin Energy safely though without constant assistance the level of control is minor.
