This is a pack of wild wolf/dragon hybrids, some half human even. We are neutral to those who come into our forests, but aggressive to those who wander into our territory. Anyone is allowed to join us, but you must get permission from Alpha (Okami) first. Fight well, hunt well, and dream well in the world of both the wolf and the dragon!

Re: The Moonside Pack
Long legs pump furiously, black paws pound the forest floor. The fluffy white wolf grins and looks back at her pursuer happily.
"Can't catch me!" Amaya calls happily, her long snout pulled into an amused grin. "Not in a million!"
((Talking to whoever wants to be chasing me.))

Re: The Moonside Pack
In her wolf form, Hamu chased gleefully after Amaya, her tongue lolling as the air battered restlessly against her face. The air was cold, and crisp, meaning that Fall was arising, but she didn't mind. As long as they had the forest they had plenty to eat.
With a spurt of speed, the wolf dragon girl caught up to Amaya, her Beta. The two had been friends for a while now. She nipped at Amaya's heels before snorting and saying, "Apparently a million isn't that long," and with that she darted off.

Re: The Moonside Pack
The fluffy white wolf yelped as a nip on her heels caught her attention, and she growled playfully, turning on a dime and easily catching up to her Alpha with her long legs. "Maybe not." She playfully jumped over the other, her huge wings opening to give her enough air to clear Alpha and more, her tail tip brushing the other wolf's nose. "But I can still catch you!" She grinned, racing off with huge bounds, assisted by her wings.
With a sudden yelp, she landed in the nearby river, thoroughly soaked, her long fur drinking in the water gleefully. Her blue eyes glared at her Alpha. "Say a word, and I'll personally pummel you to a pulp." She was kidding-of course-she would never hurt Hamu.

Re: The Moonside Pack
Walking over to the stream, having slowed her pace from a full blown run to a trot of some sorts, Hamu splashed Amaya with a paw, chuckling at the fluffy white wolf to see her all wet. As she did so she said with a wolfish grin, "You wouldn't even be able to land a scratch on me before I pulverized you," she exclaimed teasingly at her Beta, her tail fluffed up in a mock challenge, adding to what she had just said. The wind blew hard, giving the air a cold chill after it had been so dry and humid. This was good, it meant that fall wouldn't result in a fire.
Before Amaya could react, Hamu used her strong hindlegs to launch herself into the white wolf, tackling her. This caused them to both fall into the stream in a wild frenzy of claws and fur. Hamu playfully nicked Amaya on the ear as they rolled around in the water.

The white wolf yelped as her Alpha landed on her. "Hey! No Fair! My fur weighs me down more than yours does!" She yipped, but-of course-she just opened her huge wings and used them to hold Hamu in one place while using her long legs to lightly pummel the other's chest.

Re: The Moonside Pack
Letting out a playful growl, Hamu opened her own wings, breaking free of Amaya's grip with a powerful launch of them. Then she used her paws to push against her Beta's chest and launch herself into the air, steadily beating her wings as she covered a few feet above the white wolf. Then she landed and tackled Amaya on the back once the wolf had gotten up, rolling the two of them onto the dirt. This may have not been a problem for Hamu, since her fur was black and white, but for a fluffy white wolf it would usually mean you were going to get dirty.
Re: The Moonside Pack
Amaya rolled with the blow, and ended up covered in mud, seeing as wet fur and dirt would create that. She didn't really mind. Never did, never will. She like getting dirty.
Soon even her Alpha was visibly covered in mud, and that meant Amaya was drenched in the brown goo. She opened her mud splattered wings and launched into the air. "How about an aerial race this time?" She shot off, a white blur in the sky. In the pack, Amaya was known for her speed, both aerial and land.

Re: The Moonside Pack
Hamu smirked up at Amaya, and started running. Her agility on land in the sky was also praised, and she considered herself a strong swimmer as well, though some of the tougher males could beat her at that if they tried. Which they usually didn't, and she didn't like that about the males of the pack.
Then she leapt up onto a tree branch, jumped over to another tree, glided towards the treetops, then took off after Amaya with lightning speed. She was a strong and healthy female, and was used to pushing herself, but she chose to use agility rather then mere strength to get the upside. She was lithe and her limbs powerful, and she exercised her wings and legs everyday. Like Amaya, she was praised her speed. In her wolf form she was strong, but in her human form her strength was moderate, and she almost always had to use her dagger or speed to fight enemies when caught in that form.

Re: The Moonside Pack
Amaya was just a white bl-wait a minute. Nevermind. She's brown. Amaya was just a BROWN blur across the sky. She cast a quick look behind her, and was surprised to see Hamu keeping pace with her easily. She only smiled and looked forward again. She gave one huge push with her wings, then pulled them in tight, shooting across the sky.

Re: The Moonside Pack
Breathing hard so that she would go as fast as possible, the white-and-black wolf-dragon raced up so that the two of them flew side by side. She wasn't the kind of wolf dragon to be humble, but she had to admit that Amaya was pretty fast. She had known the Beta since she was but a pupling (Pup/hatchling), which was probably the reason the white wolf had become Beta in the first place.
As they flew side by side, neither of them able to best the other, Hamu called over to Amaya, "Want to see who can make it to Shining Lake first? First one there will be declared the fastest wolf dragon in the Moonside pack!" she exclaimed, beating her wings even faster.

Re: The Moonside Pack
Amaya smiled at Hamu's challenge. "You're on!" She grinned and beat her wings rapidly again to gain speed, then tuked them in once more to gain a more streamlined and aerodynamic shape. She shot forward, though only just ahead of her Alpha. This was tough, both wolgons (wolf/dragon) were very fast. She shot towards Shining Lake, and she cast a glance back towards her leader.

Re: The Moonside Pack
A smirk crossed Hamu's face as she watched her Beta speed off across the sky, purposely letting the wolgon get in front of her. It would, after all, be unfair for the Alpha to get the headstart.
With a playful fury, Hamu tucked her wings against her back and started doing a freefall. Once she had nearly reached the floor of the forest, she opened them and started speed flying in between the trees, so that Amaya didn't see her.

Re: The Moonside Pack
The wolgon's eyebrows rose when she saw...nothing. Worried, she cast a glance in front of her. Still nothing. She shrugged it off and beat her wings rapidly again, then trimmed them only enough to keep her airborne. And she dove into Shining Lake with a loud splash. She blinked underwater for a moment, then rolled around, cleaning the mud off. The once-again white wolf clambered out of the water and shook herself.

Re: The Moonside Pack
The route Hamu had taken had been much faster then the one Amaya had taken. It had taken her through the forest at a speeding rate and allowed her to quickly reach the Shining Lake, helped by he fact that her wings were strong and her body healthy and capable of taking the difficult yet fast path. You're probably wondering how it could be difficult and easy at the same time. It was very skinny, and in order to get through it efficiently you would need to have a flexible body, and know the area very well, both of which Hamu did.
Panting, she reached the Shining Lake. Hamu smirked when she noted that Amaya had yet to arrive, but she wasn't just going to sit and wait. She knew that Amaya must be only seconds away from reaching the lake. So, with lightning speed, the black-and-white wolgon leapt back into the shadows, just in time to watch Amaya splash into the lake. When the water blew up, a smirk crossed Hamu's face, and she crouched down, watching the wolgon in the water curiously, her eyes blaring with a wolf ferocity. Luckily, she was downwind, so her Beta wouldn't pick up her scent.
As the wolgon got out of the water, Hamu's muscles twitched, and she got ready to tackle the Beta, her eyes boring into hers, her haunches shaking back and forth as she got ready. Then, with a playful yip, she charged out of the underbrush, not even trying to hide like she would a real opponent. Because Amaya hadn't expected, she got the better of the white wolgon, tackling her and causing them both to roll into the water once again, Hamu nipping at Amaya's back.

Re: The Moonside Pack
Amaya yelped as Hamu came-literally-out of nowhere. The two tumbled backwards in the water, and Amaya squirmed, then pushed her wings open forcefully, trying to knock her Alpha off. She then flapped upwards, making her way to the surface, sputtering. She clambered out again. She turned to glare at her alpha. "Ha. Ha. Very funny." In reality, it was.

Re: The Moonside Pack
Chuckling, Hamu shook herself, water dripping down her pelt and splattering onto Amaya, making her, somehow, even more wet then she already was. Hamu chuckled, splashing water into Amaya's eyes, before saying playfully, and tauntingly at the same time, "Oops, sorry. My mistake." she then splashed Amaya again and took off to shore, laughing energetically as she raced through the water, using her now wet wings to propel her to the land ahead of her.
Re: The Moonside Pack
Amaya grinned, fumbling after her Alpha, then leaping into the air in an attempt to land on the other wolfgon, a playful dunk. "My bad." She said sweetly.
