Name: Rue

Species: Plant/Human Hybrid

Appearance: When he looks human, Rue is a tall well built man with long brown hair and facial hair that is usually just scruff. He often is found wearing only pants. When wearing a top it is just  a loose leather jacket. His eye's are a vibrant green. Underneath his skin is a malleable bark like substance and his innards are more plant than human.

Spoiler:

When his body is plant like, he is humanoid but his skin and hair are replaced with smooth bark and leaves, however his eyes remain the same. His leaves are highlighted blue and he has strangle blue markings all over his body the are bioluminescents and can be dimmed and even turned off with enough focus.

Internal Characteristics

Personality: Rue is an outcast and that reflects extremely on him. He is a charming guy and enjoys company, but is very judgmental and plays it safe when meeting anyone new. He refuses to fight for either the plants or the humans. Ultimately he is a survivalist though, and must do what he has to to survive in this world.

Due to his genetic modifications, Rue is also extremely unstable and when under extreme stress or emotional trauma his humanity is very much put on the back burner and the Rastlina plant in him comes out. Usually followed by violence and running, which caused him to forcefully remove himself from any group or home he has had.

Habits/Quirks: Habitually stays in his human form, but when assaulted by plants will shed his skin to protect himself.

Likes: Being Alone.

Dislikes: Humans.

History: What are some important events in your history?

• Fifty Five years ago, Rue, formally known as Robert Under Earn, robs a store and kills four civilians and one officer of the law. He is put into custody and then on death row, given the choice of death or the new planet Rastlina. He chooses Rastlina.
  
• Two weeks before he is to be shipped off, he is placed in a facility and tested. He is told his old identity of Robert Earn choose death and they begin to proceed experimentation.
  
• Now, Code name: Rue, is genetically altered in hope of creating a perfect defense force against the plants of Rastlina. A force of part plant men who can protect without fear of being attacked by the plants. The experiment is a success and Rue is sent to Rastlina as a initial field test. However, upon arrival he is immediately assaulted by a group of men who see him as an abomination. This causes Rue to be driven into a rage and kills a couple dozen people before escaping into the jungle. He is branded a criminal and is to be killed on sight.
  
• Earth has it's population wiped out.
  
• Rue begins a new life by himself with nature as his only friend.
  

Abilities: What are your characters abilities?

• His physical attributes have been greatly enhanced
  
• Can communicate with plants, however is not well versed in speaking to, just understanding.
  
• Runs on Photosynthesis and breathes through his skin. He is however also carnivorous and can eat meat to gain sustenance during the long nights.
  
• Has a regenerative property, that is fast enough but takes a few days to heal wounds and regrow certain parts. He has no blood, so cannot bleed out, but does excrete a kind of sap that will hold together certain wounds. Only way for him to truly die is to destroy his brain or heart. The only truly human parts of him left.
  
• Can generate a human shell (His human form) to pass off as a human.
  
• Ages slowly, every ten years pass as one.
