Orbis, the New World

Discovered over the expansive sea of Radix is a small plot of land dubbed Orbis. A recently developed island, Orbis has quite new technology. The buildings are new and fanciful, befitting of a tropical paradise. Despite the advanced tech the buildings around the coast are mostly wooden and simple with only basic electricity and appliances.

The islands denizens employ both labor and technology to keep it clean. The sea around the island is quite pristine, to the point one can see through the waters down several feet. The island as a whole is incredibly beautiful with a grand forest in it's center section.

The people who reside here are generally well off and tidy, with tax being just enough to support the island's growth and not infringe on the plethora of small businesses and rich individuals making Orbis home. They are a laid back group of people, though they value cleanliness

However the island is positioned above Crucis' main fishing grounds, meaning that the fish they do catch are so small in number as to have no economic value. The island's main economy is derived from tourism, as it is literally among the most desirable sections of Radix to visit.
