Latonia, Radix's Heart
This is the area all newcomers arrive in when first entering Radix. It's general architecture is derived from an amalgamation of Greek and Arabic design. There are a few buildings that are far plainer, but as a general rule most buildings in Latonia are all elegant and complex. There are thousands of streets in Latonia, and at each major point of the city are identifying signs as well as dispensers of various forms of navigation. The most common are Clay Disks that respond to the user's amount of synchronization with the dimension.
Strangely enough, damage and trash in Latonia is never consistent. Without any interference the buildings and streets repair and clean themselves. As such, there is no graffiti or age evident in such an ancient part of the city. In addition, structures that are generally perceived by the people within Latonia as a detriment are removed in the same cycle with no trace they were ever there. Beyond that, it occasionally expands buildings upwards on its own to account for its ever-growing population.
The type of people who live here are variable. From ignorant to enlightened, from rich to poor, and from good to bad all types are found within Latonia.
The economy of Latonia is fair. Unlike the rest of its city it doesn't grow its own food anymore, instead importing most of its crops and livestock from Rustici and seafood from Crucis.
This section of the city is easily the size of an entire city on its own.
